I am a responsible and proud breeder who has a great passion for this breed.  I strive to produce some of the finest family raised and show potential "old style", big head, big bone, short muzzle Newfoundlands with the best laid back temperment ever.  All of my Newfoundlands have champions in their pedigrees.  We take great pride in breeding healthy, big, sound and well tempered Newfoundland puppies only for responsible and loving homes. A spay/neuter contract must be signed. We are located in the rural countryside of northeastern PA where my Newfoundlands are part of my family.  My puppies are born and raised in my home and socialized to many sounds, lights, other animals and children until they leave to become a loving member of their new homes.  All puppies are examined by a licensed vet and come with a health certificate, have their first set of shots and are wormed.  A written health and hip guarantee (for a period of 1 year) is provided to each new owner.  I always take back any of my puppies or adults if the situation arises at any age and for any reason and provide a lifetime of support to all new owners.  References are provided at your request.  Visitors are always welcome by appointment only.
I hope you enjoy my site.  Thank you so much for considering one of Fairchild's Newfoundlands.

All my puppies are vet checked by a licensed vet at 8 weeks of age.  They are given a complete checkup including heart, bite, eyes, and hips.  They also receive their first set of shots and are microchipped.  My puppies are dewormed 3 times.  A fecal is done also at the 8 week checkup.  Health certificates are also given to all new owners to assure that your puppy is healthy and shows their individual exam results.
My puppies are raised indoors and they are raised as part as my family.  They go outside during the day for a brief period of time to get some sunshine and fresh air and to play in the grass/gravel or snow and go swimming in a baby pool weather/temperatures permitting.
All my puppies are clean, happy and healthy. They get baths and their nails trimmed and their ears cleaned.
I guarantee my pups 110%.
My puppies are weaned on a good quality brand puppy food, goats milk, cottage cheese, yogurt, cooked chicken (only white meat) and raw carrots to ensure all their nutritional needs.  Fresh water is available 24 hours a day.
All my puppies are given lots of love and attention and many hugs and kisses especially from my now 14 year old son.  The puppies are supervised 24 hours a day for the first 3-4 weeks of age.  They are well socialized with children and adults, other dogs and many lights and sounds.  I also start papertraining and housebreaking them weather permitting.
***** I provide a puppy package to each new owner with the following:

(1) bag of puppy food
(2) puppy bag including treats, toys and new collar and new leash

I love all of my puppies dearly and I am very sad to see them go to their new homes but my only concern is to make sure they all have forever loving and caring homes.
I as a breeder breed for quality, health, temperament and type - not QUANTITY.
But most important is that I am always here to support you and your new puppy and I thank you very much for choosing to have one of Fairchild's Newfoundlands as part of your family.  We always take back any of our puppies or adults (at any age) and for any reasons or if the situation ever arises. Please feel free to call me at anytime with any concerns or questions no matter how small.

All puppies are sold on AKC limited (pet) registration only!

****We do not currently show our dogs in the confirmation ring but I am planning on doing so in the future  We did showed our 1st newfoundland named Savannah a couple of times ONLY in the obedience ring and she did quite well but was always disqualified due to her love for the judges.  She did pass her test for her Canine Good Citizen Award (June 24, 2004) and to be a Therapy dog.  We never did any therapy work due to my work schedule back in 2004.
We do health testing and screening on all of our Newfoundlands before considering them in our breeding program.
